Employment

Senior Web Developer at Netcompany (formerly Netcompany Intrasoft / Intrasoft International)

2008 to present

I have worked primarily as a front-end developer for various projects - large and small; as part of team and autonomously; and in a variety of capacities. As well as development, I have also been included in projects for my ability to improve project organisation, implement new procedures and processes, expand documentation, and communicate between all parties. This has led me to be involved across the development lifecycle where I have gained experience and exposure of the Support Desk, Business Analyst and Project Management tasks.

  • Senior Developer for CORDIS (Angular, Symfony, IDOL), a public repository of EU funded projects. Responsible for assessing client feedback, organising workloads, and leading Releases, as well as implementing Playwright JS for automated testing. I have also been involved in a Business Analyst role when analysing and implementing new features to the site. While the site used IDOL Search, I was the Lead Search Expert, and worked with colleagues to begin migration to ElasticSearch.
  • Lead Developer and Support for an Internal Timeplanning Application (Symfony) to monitoring employees working schedule. Joined the project to work with the Support Desk to improve client/user communication; implemented an update across the site based on a UI/UX Review.
  • Lead Developer on internal tools for EMCDDA (now EUDA), as well as their recruitment platform. Collaborated with their HR Team to develop Requirements Analysis, prototypes, and final applications in ColdFusion for Holiday Management and Staff Appraisals. Followed up with maintenance tasks working with end users to resolve issues, and the EUDA Hosting Team to deploy update packages.
